pegasusonearthAir Teks or A-Ts - Basically they are inline skates that come with small but really strong motors and power cells that don't need to be charged. They also are made up with lots of small and expensive parts that are highly customizable to your own personal style of riding. They commonly have two wheels each but some people customize them to have more. All standard A-Ts come with programming that limits how fast and high they can go. This limiter can be very easily removed (though technically it is illegal to do so).
Storm Rider - Or just 'Rider' for short. This is someone who has had the limiters on their A-Ts illegally removed. The name is used to differentiate from the casual skater who rides with limiters in place.
Riding or Running - Slang for skating. Someone's 'Run' can also be used as a slang to refer what style they skate in.
Tricks - Special stunts and skills that a Storm Rider can pull off that go above and beyond what's capable with an ordinary pair of skates.
Road - Once a Storm Rider achieves a certain amount of skill they are usually classified under a certain Road that corresponds with their style. There's the Wing Road which specializes in super long air time and aerial tricks, the Over Road which specializes in using another person's Road against them. As Kazu is a speed style rider he rides the Flame Road which focuses on speed and nimbleness as well as using heat to warp perceptions (create mirages and optical illusions). There are quite a few other roads, these are just a few examples.
King - A king is a title given to whoever is the strongest or most skilled rider of each Road. It's somewhat of an unofficial title, and sometimes there can be disputes or uncertainty over who the Road King currently is. Kazu is considered to be the current Flame King as he has very solid skills in the Flame Road, and is the fastest character in the series.
King Level - A REALLY good Rider. They would probably be a Road King themselves if there wasn't someone just a little bit better.
